Description
High place of the Tour de France Cycling.
It is the highest road pass in the Alps.
From the summit at 2 764 m of altitude, you flirt with the glaciers of Val d'Isère and the Vanoise.
It is also a Mecca for the Tour de France cyclists.
The Col de l'Iseran, which marks the border between the Maurienne and Tarentaise regions, dominates the Grandes Alpes road, a famous tourist route that takes you through the entire French Alps.
Like the greatest cyclists, you still have 17 km and 920 m of difference in altitude from Val d'Isère to become a legend!
Electrically assisted bicycles are even available in some hotels or for rent: cyclists and bikers of all kinds, welcome to the road to the Col!
