A full-scale sports ground with 445 kms of marked and groomed trails, itineraries and singles, including 300 kms with the FFC label. At Haute Maurienne Vanoise, you're sure to have fun! Double the pleasure on the way down, and zero the fatigue on the way up, by using the ski lifts open in summer! You can also take advantage of the mountain bike playgrounds for family fun or to improve your skills.
Into the Wild ?
At Haute Maurienne Vanoise, you're in for a real treat, with courses set in unspoilt mountain scenery. The cross-country and enduro courses and singles are classed more in the "sporty" category, although the green and blue courses will give you a first taste. It's up to you to choose a course according to your level of fitness, your technique and the composition of your group. Use the color of the rating and the descriptions to help you, but be careful: a red route is often already very challenging, requiring technique and calves.
Or discovery rides on a VTTAE?
The Haute Maurienne also offers a number of "discovery" trails that take you to some of the valley's most beautiful landscapes. From your saddle, you'll be able to observe the fauna, flora and heritage of villages with authentic architecture, Baroque churches, 19th-century forts... You'll also be able to admire the Vanoise or Charbonnel glaciers, and contemplate the immense Mont Cenis lake: a change of scenery guaranteed! You don't need to be a champion mountain biker to ride these trails, as you'll always be on beautiful, easy trails or small roads. And for an even easier way to tackle the slopes, try out the electrically-assisted mountain bikes.

Saddle up for Espace ChantelouveYou can also take your mountain bike to Bessans on the aptly named "Chemin du Petit Bonheur", then try out the Chantelouve trails, a concentration of fun mountain biking for all levels: from children who have just taken off their wheels to experienced riders looking for a new mountain biking experience.
