Refuge la Dent Parrachée

Located in the Vanoise National Park area at an altitude of 2,520 meters, the La Dent Parrachée refuge offers breathtaking views of the Plans d'Aval and Plans d'Amont reservoirs above Aussois.

Description

From the refuge, you can embark on: a tour of the Vanoise Glaciers via its verdant balcony, a glacier traverse, an emblematic summit like the Dent Parrachée, a rocky face (the Grand Chatelard)....
Or simply an afternoon in the deckchairs!
For one night, you'll also have the chance to savor the special atmosphere of living together at altitude, in a small space where everyone shares each other's passion.
The refuge has a 30-place room that is permanently open.

Permanent restoration : Diots de pays, apple pie.

Bivouac : reservation required. Capacity of 50 persons. Only during the summer opening period. Fee of 5 euros per person.

Location

Nearest village or resort : Aussois.
Walking time from the Plan d'Amont parking lot: 2 hours, 500 m of difference in altitude, starting altitude 2,000 m, no difficulty in summer.
In winter, at the station of Aussois, take the chairlift then cross towards the refuge on skis 40 mn, on snowshoes 1h30. Possibility to go up in summer with a pack donkey.
