Les Moulins de Pralognan, a must-see site for your vacations!
Two small buildings with traditional architecture, dry stones and lauze roofs. One of them grinds grain, the other one is an eco-museum.

Description

A destination to be privileged for a family walk in the open air.
Access by car, bus, accompanied persons with reduced mobility.
Thanks to the tenacity and hard work of the association "Moulins et Patrimoine de Saint-André", five water mills with horizontal wheels have been restored to their original condition and three are in working order.
In the hamlet of Pralognan, two of them are open to visitors: one makes flour on a regular basis, the other has been converted into an eco-museum where milling parts and objects are collected. They are equipped with a single set of millstones and a horizontal turbine made of larch wood. Wheat is still ground as it was in the past.
