Great, beautiful cross-country course, don't forget that we are in the mountains, with beautiful technical trails, up and down.

Description

The first ascent to the plateau des Arponts is partly on a pretty forest track, followed by a magnificent balcony single that takes you across the mountainside to the Plan sec refuge above the Plan d'Aval and Plan d'Amont lakes.
The descent from Plan d'Aval is via the Moulinator 1 and 2 enduros (the return of revenge!).
A certain level of physical fitness and a little technique are required on this large-scale course. Exceptional views over the mountains and the valley, and a guaranteed high-mountain atmosphere.
Located at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, the Plan d'Amont and Plan d'Aval dams (built between 1945 and 1956) contribute to the operation of the valley's power stations. These two lakes supply the Mont-Cenis lake, located on the other side of the valley.
Departure point: Plan de la Croix (on the road between Aussois and Val Cenis Sardières).

Location

The route starts at Aussois La Croix (Aussois exit towards Sardières), with parking nearby.
During the summer season, you can take the S52 bus (Modane - Aussois - Val Cenis) and get off at the "Le Centre" stop; the bus is equipped with a bicycle trailer every day except Saturday.
