Getting to Val Cenis

In the heart of Haute Maurienne in Savoie, Val Cenis is easy to reach whatever your means of transport. Only 23 km from Modane on the A43 motorway, exit 30 and from the Franco-Italian Fréjus tunnel via road D1006.
The Mont-Cenis pass is generally open from May to October, allowing you to cross from France to Italy and enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramas of the Northern Alps.

Coming by car

Motorway A43 towards Turin (Fréjus Tunnel, Italy), exit n°30 – Modane, Haute Maurienne, then road D1006 (formerly RN6).

Cross Modane and continue towards Val Cenis.

Val Cenis is 23 km away.

Check traffic conditions and the state of roads and mountain passes.

Coming by train

There are regular train connections to Modane, less than 4 hours from Paris by TGV high-speed train.

For onward travel to the resort, the bus station is on your left as you leave Modane train station.

We recommend you book your taxi in advance, it will be waiting for you at the station.

Coming by plane

The airports of Chambéry, Grenoble, Geneva, Lyon and Turin are less than two hours’ drive from our resorts.

In winter only, there are bus connections from Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Chambery and Geneva airports to Haute Maurienne.

You can also order a taxi that will be waiting for you as you leave the airport.
