  • One of the oldest dwellings in Aussois, people and animals once shared this traditional home. Today, visitors can hear the stories of the village’s residents and learn about life in this mountain community and its agropastoral beginnings.

    "The Ark of Oe" ("Oe" means Aussois in patois) collects, through oral or written testimony of its inhabitants, the whole history of the village. Every room in the house has found its functions and original arrangements. Today aussoyens aussoyennes and invite you to explore alone, with family or friends, the life of the mountain community of its agro-pastoral origins to its current tourism. Corners games to discover in the visit were arranged for children.
    Each week during the winter and summer seasons, one or more activities are offered by day or evening: guided tours, making butter, snacks, evening stories, etc.
