Hannibal Bivouac
Val-Cenis
The Hannibal bivouac is a new hiker's refuge, installed at the Col Clapier, at an altitude of 2,477 m.
It can accommodate up to 8 hikers in autonomy, so don't forget to bring your equipment and meals. Unguarded refuge.
Description
It is located on the route taken by Hannibal during his crossing of the Alps. It will surprise more than one visitor, so much its contemporary architecture contrasts with the traditional refuges.
A place all the more incredible as it offers an unobstructed view of Italy through a large window and promises an incredible starry show at night, to be admired from your bunk thanks to the zenithal glass roof.
Accessible and open depending on snow conditions.
