Getting to or leaving HMV
All the villages and resorts of Haute Maurienne Vanoise are served by public transport routes to take you to and from Modane train station.
For bus routes M9, M10, M11 and M12, we strongly recommend you buy your ticket in advance. This will ensure a seat is reserved for you.

Travel in HMV
The Haute Maurienne Vanoise bus network is organised around three main lines:
- M9/M10 Valfréjus – Modane – La Norma
- M11 Modane – Val Cenis Lanslebourg via Aussois
- M12 Modane – Bonneval sur Arc
These services take you exploring the villages of Haute Maurienne Vanoise and serve the “transversal” lines that allow you to reach the resorts and our region’s many exceptional sites. Attention, They are generally in correspondence!


A “transport-on-demand” network
Some lines run continuously, while others operate only on prior reservation.
You must therefore anticipate when you wish to travel and book your seat by 6.30 pm the day before.

Fares
and terms of saleWhen checks are carried out, users may be asked for proof of identity. The transport payment rules apply to everyone. To board a bus, the user must show a valid ticket. Any user boarding a second vehicle for an onward connection will be asked to show a second ticket.


The intra-resort shuttle buses are free.
With all-season lift passes and passes for 6 days or more you get free unlimited travel on buses across the network during the lift pass validity period.
All lift passes for Valfréjus or La Norma give you free travel on bus routes M9 and M10 (a lift pass for 6 days or more, or a seasonal pass, is still required for travel on the rest of the network).
On bus routes 1, 2, M9, M10, M11 and M12, all passengers must be in possession of a valid ticket.
When checks are carried out, users may be asked for proof of identity.
The transport payment rules apply to everyone.
To board a bus, the user must show a valid ticket.
Any user boarding a second vehicle for an onward connection will be asked to show a second ticket.
Lift pass holders wishing to board a bus are required to produce a proof of purchase indicating that the lift pass is still valid.
PASS’MOBILITÉ (not valid on Saturdays)

- Pass’Mobilité weekly: 10 €
- Pass’Mobilité child: free (child under 5 years born in or after 2014)
- Pass’Mobilité senior: free (adult over the age of 75 in 2020)

Regulations
Disabled persons
On Saturdays, routes M9, M10, M11 and M12 are accessible to people with reduced mobility, on prior reservation. Phone by 11.30 am on the day before travel, on: 04 79 05 26 67 (no surcharge)
Children
- Children under 5 years of age must be accompanied.
For safety reasons, they must not stay in their pushchair.
Dogs
- Guide dogs are accepted without restriction. Dogs carried in a dog carrier travel for free.
- Owners will be required to purchase a ticket for any dog of more than 10 kg or which is not transported in a dog carrier.
- Dogs of more than 10 kg must wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead.
