You come by train

Less than 4 hours from Paris with high-speed train TGV, French railway proposes to you regular trains and extra trains during the winter period.

To reach the stations, the bus station is on your left as you leave the Modane SNCF station.

Taxis are parked in front of the station. We advise you to book them in advance on busy days!

You come by plane

The airports of Chambéry, Grenoble, Geneva, Lyon and Torino are less than 2 hours from our resorts!

In winter, there are bus connections from Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Chambéry and Geneva airports to Haute Maurienne.

You can also order your taxi that will be waiting for you when you get off the plane.


Transports between resorts

When ?

Every day of course! – On Sundays, the timetable adjusts to the activity of the resort concerned or of the neighbouring resort. – From Monday to Friday, the timetable caters for all 6 resorts of Haute Maurienne Vanoise and you can get to the village of your choice. Bus services open to all. – On Saturdays, priority to travellers arriving at or leaving Haute Maurienne Vanoise. Only the regional lines operate and space is limited. It is highly recommended that you book your seat via the Regional council website or at one of the Tourist Information desks in the ski resorts.


From Sunday to Friday:

– Free travel on presentation of proof of purchase of a valid 6-day (minimum) lift pass (downhill or cross-country skiing) or an annual Haute Maurienne Vanoise lift pass. You can buy a mobility card from a Tourist Office, or just purchase your ticket from the bus driver at the current local rate


– Fares fixed by the region, available on the Regional council website. For any further details or timetable information for a specific route, please visit the website:
