Far from the crowds, come to Valfréjus in summer for a return to the roots in the heart of nature.

At the gateway to Italy, a multitude of paths take you through larch forests and alpine pastures dotted with grazing animals.

Go horseriding or cycling to explore the area or, for the more energetic, try a via ferrata trail or zipwire! The landscape is dotted with fortifications and chapels that are well worth a visit.

Easy to reach via the motorway or by high-speed train to Modane, the resort has a long tradition of mountain sports and was built at an ideal location for this type of activity.

The Vallée Etroite pass marks the boundary between Savoie in the Northern Alps and Hautes-Alpes, in the Southern Alps. It is on the GR5  hiking route which then continues south towards the Mediterranean.
