Mountain biking for all

In Haute Maurienne Vanoise, you are invited to discover and enjoy all styles of mountain biking: Enduro, DH, cross-country, power-assisted mountain bikes and classic mountain bikes. This life-sized sports ground boasts 445 km of maintained, waymarked trails, including 300 km approved by the FFC.

In Valfréjus, you’ll find a bike-handling practice area at the bottom of the gondola lift which is open all summer long.
Your children can perfect their skills here before taking to the surrounding Enduro trails.

We just know you’ll love it here!
And you can double the pleasure with the Pass Liberté activity pass which gives you unlimited access to the summer lifts.

Don’t have a bike?
You can rent one in the local sports shops where you’ll get quality of service and tips galore, straight from the professionals!

The cross-country and, of course, Enduro trails are generally reserved for “seasoned” mountain bikers, but there are no hard-and-fast rules. Choose a suitable itinerary that takes into account the level of physical fitness and mountain-biking expertise of the members of your group.

Use the grading system colour codes and descriptions as a guide. If a trail is described as technically and/or physically challenging, trust us, it will be!

The fun areas, on the other hand, are suitable for all mountain bikers. They are there mainly for families and children, but some of the modules and trails will also appeal to those with more experience.

We don’t yet have a place to “repair” mountain bikers who run out of energy but rest assured, we will soon! In the meantime, don’t forget to bring your own drinks and snacks.

A discovery trail will take you admiring the valley’s most beautiful scenery and its fauna, flora and heritage. You don’t need to be a mountain biking champion to follow this easy trail along pleasant tracks and small roads.

If you really don’t like the idea of cycling uphill, then opt for an electrically-assisted bike.
