Animated visit of the museum - Cycle 2 CE

Val-Cenis
Animated visit of the museum - Dominique Rault

Accompanied by an animator, the children will listen to the story told by the exhibited objects and become privileged witnesses of the daily life of these first mountain dwellers, 5 500 years ago.

Description

It is more an animation based on a game of questions and answers than a visit. The child becomes the actor of his discovery and with Jean Ducaillou, the fictional archaeologist of the Museum, he will acquire the first rudiments of the scientific approach: to observe, to describe in order to put forward a hypothesis. But the imagination remains present because the manipulation of real ceramic shards will allow him to imagine the prehistoric potter making his vase.

Pedagogical objectives: Observe, understand, imagine, experiment
- Observe: objects of daily life that have survived through time
- To understand: To make the link between the object and its function, the evolution of techniques. The rudiments of the scientific process
- To imagine : The way of life of the inhabitants of the Balmes cave
- To experiment : To handle the object, the fragile artifact
