The natural site of Mont-Thabor ranges in altitude from 1750 m to 3178 m and covers 4,806 hectares in several communes of the Maurienne. Alpine pastures, meadows, rocky habitats are characteristic of the site with a very diversified flora and fauna.

Complementary welcome

Last parking lot accessible from Valfréjus is at the Lavoir, a narrow road that is passable but not asphalted.
