Le Mont

at Val-Cenis

  • This beautiful forest hike leads to a clearing offering a panoramic view of the valley and the village. Wildlife, heather and other flora.

  • From the village square near the fountain, follow the Aussois road for 200 metres, then turn right onto the farm track which rises across the meadows to the edge of the forest. Continue on a forest path which climbs towards the Loza until you reach the Mont.
    Return via the Mont forest road as far as the D83. Cross the road and take the path (Circuit des 7 Douleurs) that leads back to the Chemin du Grand Cerf, then head back towards Val Cenis Sollières. Follow the path alongside the RD83...

Cross the road and take the path (Circuit des 7 Douleurs) that leads back to the Chemin du Grand Cerf, then head back towards Val Cenis Sollières. Follow the path alongside the RD83 and, just before the Chapel of Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs, cross the road and continue on the path leading back down to Val Cenis Sollières via the campsite.
