  • A beautiful hike in the heart of the Vanoise National Park

  • At the Freney roundabout, follow the signs for Saint André “Porte du Parc de l’Orgère” until you reach the refuge car park. Take the path which starts above the Orgère refuge and climbs fairly steeply through the woods to the Estiva ruins (2184 metres). It then becomes a long balcony path which leads to a lake, Lac de la Partie. Throughout your itinerary in the heart of the Vanoise National Park, ibex and marmots will keep you entertained.
    The return trip can be made on the same path, but...

    The return trip can be made on the same path, but ideally you can make it a loop itinerary by returning via the Polset valley.
