  • Go into the forest in the shade of the larches, enjoy the wild and beautiful nature and rest in the green mountain pastures.
    Here is a walk accessible to all, which takes you to meet the local people and their family alpine chalet transformed into a refuge.

    On the way back down, a stop at the Romanesque church of Saint-Pierre d'Extravache is a must. Founded in the 2nd century by two disciples of Saint-Pierre, it is considered to be the first place of Christianity in Savoie. The apse preserves the traces of a fresco from the beginning of the 17th century: a Christ in Majesty surmounting a representation of the apostles.
