Italian of origin and heart of the region of Frioul, in the northeast of the country, Renato Tonini (singer, percussionist and guitarist) is the founder of the group Canzonieri.
From the Gulf of Naples to the Po plain, passing through the popular districts of Rome, Canzonieri's repertoire crosses Italy from North to South. Different styles follow one another; Neapolitan ballads (Luna Rossa), southern tarantellas, popular and festive songs of Rome, songs of the workers of the rice fields, without forgetting the essential song of the partisans: Bella Ciao!
Accompanied by Yannick Boudruche on guitar and vocals and William Robin on accordion, Renato Tonini and his musicians will introduce you to the diversity of traditional rhythms and the authentic character of Italian popular songs.
