La Norma in summer
La Norma, the “cosy” village of Haute Maurienne Vanoise, is a lively resort with a friendly, human feel. It has an entirely car-free centre where children can come and go independently and take part in the many activities included in the “Cosy Pass”.
All the car parks in the resort are free, including an underground car park with 450 spaces. So leave your car behind and go mountain biking on the surrounding paths to discover the exceptionally rich local heritage.

With the gondola lift open in the summer, you will have easy access to many hiking trails and if you need to cool off, you can take a dip in the lake at the watersports centre!
Adrenalin addicts will head for the Gorges du Diable to experience the Giant zip lines at the Parcobranche devil’s treetop adventure park and Via ferrata, the Garden of Eden or the “Porte des Secrets” escape game inside the Marie-Thérèse Redoubt, one of the five forts of the Esseillon barrier. And why not go rock-climbing at the Rocher des Amoureux?
For a walk with a pushchair or a short warm-up hike, head for the Vanoise National Park on the Orgère discovery trail. Your children will have fun learning about nature, the forest and the mountain flora and will love getting close to the marmots that can be seen in the valley, right next to the Orgère refuge.
La Norma feels a little like a “Center Parcs” resort in the mountains. Are you up for “activities galore”? Then La Norma, the cosy, welcoming resort, is the place to be!
