Enduro of the game

It’s time for a new edition of the mountain bike event of the fall in the heart of the Alps. On September 9th and 10th, Val Cenis welcomes the Enduro du Jeu.
On the program: 800m of D+, great sensations on the descent, mountain bike rides open to all, discovery of the secret spots of Haute Maurienne Vanoise with the pro riders of Val Cenis, draisienne challenge for the kids, concert, barbecue… Big and small calves welcome!

The game before the issue!

The mountain biking rendezvous in the heart of one of the greatest playgrounds in the Alps: the Haute Maurienne Vanoise

Val Cenis welcomes a new edition of the Enduro du Jeu. On Saturday’s program: mass start and special stages for time junkies, or “rando” mode without hurrying for those who prefer to enjoy the singles at their own pace.

The mini-riders are not forgotten: pumptrack in the morning, mountain bike challenges specially adapted for children and even a draisienne challenge in the afternoon for the very young! Big smiles guaranteed for the parents. And of course, barbecue, local beers and concert open to all in the evening!

On Sundays, local guides will take you to discover their secret spots in Val Cenis or in the Haute Maurienne Vanoise.

Mass start and pedal climb

The special stages have been thought, spotted and organized by the instructors and guides of Val Cenis for a maximum of sensations and variety. For example, on Saturday morning it will be Mass start and pedal climb!

The events are open to mountain bikes and electrically assisted bikes.

From ski touring to cycling

L’Enduro du Jeu is above all a story of bike fans, ski touring and local riders. The explanations of Cédric Marra-Robert, co-organizer of the event.

“With his Scandinavian experience, Fred Buttard, from Upguides, came to me with the idea of organizing an enduro in Val Cenis on the same format as a famous Norwegian ski touring race: a mass-start at the shotgun for 900m, a good drink at the top to recharge the batteries before sending wood (or not) on the descent on the singles.
The ascent and descent are timed but the objective is above all the game 😉 before the stake… The idea was to create a festival of the bicycle by gathering different profiles of practitioners (the tights-pipette, the Endurists, the Sunday hikers, the sportsmen…).
Completely seduced by the idea, I said yes without hesitation to bring my experience of mountain biker. We realized the 1st edition in 2019 with all the team of Upguides. This edition was a great success (90 participants), which confirmed our choice of this format, the second edition was already in preparation in our heads… Over the years, different partners joined us to offer an even more attractive event: the Alternative association, the UC Vanoise, the Val d’Ambin campsite, the Haute Maurienne Vanoise Tourist Office… “
