Vivaldis by Philippe Decouflé is set against the superb mountain backdrop of Savoie in spring, when the rock is still covered in snow and the meadows begin to bloom. Dressed in bright colours, the characters are accompanied by the music of Vivaldi. And because we are seated comfortably in the gardens of the House of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the charm continues with the Oscar-winning and nevertheless magical, La La Land.

A bar will be open to quench your thirst!

The idea is very simple: 4 camping tents, a 45m cable, a very long pole, and a bonfire burning below! It’s time for Olivier Debelhoir and his accomplice Anthony Breurec to embark on this ascent. Full of fear, they exchange old stories and future projects. The expedition progresses towards its goal, word by word, step by step, aiming for the sky!

In the meantime, since you’re nice and comfy sitting there kindly listening to them, we’ll make you some popcorn…

This artistic demonstration focusses on the fascination surrounding the notion of flight by following the dizzying route taken by highline specialist Nathan Paulin and other acrobats at Fort Victor Emmanuel. Screened shots of the site and the surrounding landscape will offer an intimate portrait of these adventurers of the vertiginous world who develop a close relationship with their majestic surroundings.
With Airelle Caen, Hamza Benlabied, Yamil Falvella, Löric Fouchereau, Peter Freeman, Jean-Camille Goimard, Nathan Paulin, Belar San Vicente and Seppe Van Looveren.

FIRST LOVE

Marco D’AGOSTIN

First Love is a performance that reenacts cross-country ski champion Stefania Belmondo’s best known competition in which she won a gold medal at the 2002 Olympics at Salt Lake City following a tremendous comeback. The event was an inspiration to choreographer Marco d’Agostin who, at the time was just a kid who took part in ski competitions. The show takes the form of a dialogue between the seemingly distant practices of sport and art, coupled with a reflection on pushing out the boundaries.

THE STORY OF A PLACE

Olivia ROSENTHAL

Writer, novelist and playwright Olivia Rosenthal ponders on the relationship between humans and the animal world. After spendind a few days following the day-to-day lives of the shepherds of Bonneval-sur-Arc, she invites us on a walk during which she will tell us their stories.

Arrive at 1.30pm for a free coffee & sweet treat before departure.

Vivaldis by Philippe Decouflé is set against the superb mountain backdrop of Savoie in spring, when the rock is still covered in snow and the meadows begin to bloom. Dressed in bright colours, the characters are accompanied by the music of Vivaldi. Screening followed by the documentary De Vallées en Sommets which retraces the unusual adventure which leads Cyril Robert and his mare Kamaée to the heart of the Savoie Alps in July 2017. Totally self-sufficient for thirty days, they covered nearly 700km and an elevation gain of 2,400 metres.

A CHOREOGRAPHIC TREK

Silvia GRIBAUDI

With the dancers and acrobats of her upcoming show, Silvia Gribaudi has taken up artistic residence on Mont Cenis, where she creates a choreographic trail starting at the Franco-Italian Maison Commune and ending at Ronce Fort. A walk with dance to discover the area around Mont Cenis.

A day in Fenestrelle, in Europe’s largest fortress in Piedmont just a few kilometres from the border.
The programme includes shows by Rachid Ouramdane (Les Traceurs) and Marco D’Agostin (First Love), as well as a dance performance by Marco Chenevier as well as an encounter and debate between two Italian writers, Enrico Camanni and Sara Loffredi.
