Getting to Bonneval sur Arc

Just 43km from Modane, Bonneval sur Arc is easy to reach from the A43 motorway, via exit 30 Haute Maurienne. It is the last village in the valley of Haute Maurienne Vanoise. In the summer, the road continues up to the Iseran pass allowing you to reach Val d’Isère and the Tarentaise valley. This is also a “must” for any motorist, camper-van driver, motorcyclist and cyclist following the Route des Grandes Alpes.

Coming by car

Motorway A43 towards Turin (Fréjus Tunnel, Italy), exit 30 – Modane, Haute Maurienne, then road D1006 (formerly RN6).

Go through Modane and follow signs for Val Cenis. Cross the villages of Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis, Lanslevillard and Bessans, then follow road D902 for a few kilometres towards Bonneval sur Arc and the Cold de l’Iseran.

Bonneval sur Arc is 43 km from Modane and 31 km from Val d’Isère.

Coming by train

There are regular SNCF train connections to Modane, less than 4 hours from Paris by TGV high-speed train.

For onward travel to the resort, the bus station is on your left as you leave Modane train station.

Coming by plane

The airports of Chambéry, Grenoble, Geneva, Lyon and Turin are less than two hours’ drive from our resorts.

In winter only, there are bus connections from Lyon Saint-Exupéry, Chambery and Geneva airports to Haute Maurienne.

You can also order a taxi that will be waiting for you as you leave the airport.
