The Perrin Lakes
A runaway at over 2100 metres above sea level under the breeze of the Col du Petit Mont-Cenis, overlooked by the majestic cliffs of the Pointe de Bellecombe. The promise of a successful immersion in the world of mountain lakes!
Description
This entrance to the Savine valley will make your mouth water. From its source at the Savine glaciers, the stream becomes a torrent, and after a remarkable passage through the whole valley, it offers you a few sparkling diamonds to admire. What a breathtaking view of the Dents d'Ambin and the Etache rock! And what can we say about those fascinating little fragile white pompons that line the Perrin lakes, planted there as if by magic? Cotton grass, or linaigrette des Alpes, so characteristic of wet mountain areas, is gently caressed by the wind and captures your gaze in wonder. Silky and light, it deserves to be photographed, but not picked. What softness in the heart of this mineral universe!
