Great, beautiful cross-country course, don't forget that we are in the mountains, with beautiful technical trails, up and down.

Description

A first ascent to the plateau des Arponts partly on a nice forest track, then on a magnificent single in balcony which makes you cross the mountain side to join the refuge of Plan sec above the lakes of plan d'Aval and plan d'Amont.
The descent from plan d'aval will be done by the enduros Moulinator 1 and 2 (the return of the revenge!).
On this large course, you need to be in good physical condition, and also have some technical skills. Exceptional views on the mountains, on the valley, and high mountain atmosphere guaranteed.
Located at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, the Plan d'Amont and Plan d'Aval dams (built between 1945 and 1956) contribute to the operation of the valley's power plants. These two lakes allow the supply of the Mont-Cenis lake, however located on the other side of the valley
Departure : Plan de la Croix (on the road between Aussois and Val Cenis Sardières).

Location

The start of the trail is located in Aussois La Croix (exit Aussois direction Sardières), parking nearby.
During the summer season, you can take the bus line S52 (Modane - Aussois - Val Cenis) and get off at the stop "Le Centre"; bus equipped with a bicycle trailer every day except Saturday.
