Fort of Turra

Val-Cenis
Fort de la turra - JJ Roch

Do you like dizzying sensations and are you sure-footed? Then this is the ride for you. Short but intense, it rewards you with an exceptional 360° view. Come up and see what unusual surprises await you up there.

Description

The climb through the high meadows sometimes leaves you breathless. Take advantage of the fresh air to enjoy the flat spots that seem to have been carved out for you. The slope gradually steepens until you reach two tricky passages. Handrails help you find your way between the rocks. A few meters
of thrills are your challenge for the day. Sensitive souls may have a hard time of it, but with the right footwear, they'll successfully climb the few stone steps. Overlooking the herds and soft grassy ridges, you let yourself be carried away by the breeze rising from the Col de Mont Cenis. Suddenly, the landscape opens up before you. La Petite Turra and its "border guardian" have been secretly waiting for you. Take a trip back in time to the 20th century and enjoy an exceptional panoramic break in the Fort de la Turra.
